A Walnut Stick Barometer, circa 1870, signed, Wisker, York, 91cm highThe case is faded throughout. The bottom moulding to the thermometer box is missing. The top of the case with a small crack to the front moulding. Adjustment vernier knob is missing. Both dials are discoloured and stained in parts. The mercury is visible in the main tube. Mercury is also visible in the thermometer tube. Not tested for working condition.

A Regency mahogany sideboard. Of broken D shape outline, fitted a central drawer, flanked by two deep drawers, one with bottle compartments, and raised on fluted baluster turned legs, height 92cm, width 153cm, depth 76.5cm.Old restoration to the top at the rear edge and chip to edge, small age splits, ring to handle lacking on right hand drawer, losses to inlay on the central drawer, the drawers need a little persuasion but do not stick. The joints are firm with no movement. The top has possibly been re-finished. Images of affected areas on Lay's website.
