Matched set of four George II cast silver candlesticks with faceted and knopped stems and spool-shaped candle holders, on domed shaped square bases (London 1730 / 1731), Jas. Gould. All at approximately 50ozs, 16.5cm overall height CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. All four sticks have some surface scratching and wear commensurate with age and use. No evidence of major damage or repair. One stick has very slight lean. Hallmarks are clear, all four sticks appear to have had engraving part removed from the surface of the bases in two places on the domed areas near the edges
