A Bretby pottery stick stand, circa 1900, modelled as a brown bear with inset glass eyes standing beside a green glazed tree trunk, height 66cm.Condition report: Best described as heavily restored, the base has been rebuilt, hence the lack of any marks as are the feet of the bear and there are further repaired cracks to the main body, extra images on David Lay website.

Height 102cm, width 56cm, depth 27cm.Condition report: There could perhaps have been a gallery to the top, the current oak panel may be a later addition.The galvanised liner has some corrosion to the corners, there is slight evidence of worm to the back left foot.Please see extra images on David Lay website.

The front panel carved with text (Friend), 14.5cm h, 21.5cm w, 16cm d, Four stands and rule books.Condition: one stick counter has the tip missing, all are irregular shapes, overall in very used condition

CONDITION REPORT In well used, well worn condition commensurate with age and use.
