DESCRIPTION: Antique Japanese Hirado porcelain ornament. Features a bobble headed monkey (Shita dashi saru) dressed as a Sanbaso dancer, holding a fan. The body is painted in a white and blue glazed hue where as the head has a rust hue. Finished with tongues that stick out when head is moved and two holes on the back.CIRCA: 19th-Early 20th Ct.ORIGIN: JapanDIMENSIONS:H:2.25" L:1"CONDITION: Great condition.
