A 28-BORE PERCUSSION UNDER-HAMMER WALKING-STICK SHOTGUN WITH DETACHABLE SHOULDER-STOCK, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number, English circa 1840, with turn off 29in. tapering iron barrel, strong amount of possibly original black enamel painted finish, rounded action body with pan-headed under-hammer (nipple crushed), exposed trigger (extreme blade tip absent), possible replacement walnut bag-shaped grip with iron key-holed mount at rear to accept a detachable walnut butt-stock (included), 45 3/4in. overall with stock attached.
A MOST RARE 4mm PERCUSSION FOUR-SHOT WALKING-STICK VOLLEY-GUN WITH BAYONET SIGNED PARIS, no visible serial number, circa 1835, with 30 1/4in. horn-tipped cane shaft detaching via a brass collar to reveal a square section 5 3/4in. bayonet with carved mount, the side of bayonet marked 'PARIS * BREVETTE', the bayonet in turn mounted centrally to a scroll engraved 2 5/8in. barrel group fluted near the muzzles, simple fly-back mechanism to crush a fulminate pill released via an engraved trigger-bar, Belgian proofs, engraved platinum bands, further 'PARIS' signature and initials 'A.H.', cane hilt with gilded broad brass collar and flaring domed pommel, 35 1/4in. overall.
A SCARCE 7mm PINFIRE PISTOL & DAGGER COMBINATION WALKING-STICK, UNSIGNED, no visible serial number, Spanish circa 1895, with plain unedged 12 1/2in. needle-point blade mounted near the muzzle of an octagonal 2 3/4in. barrelled in-line pistol mechanism (barrel with drilled vent for blank), the rear with side-hammer, swing-open breech and side button trigger, the pommel carved as the head of a hound fitted with glass eyes, the neck carved with open scrolls, catch at rear to lock it into the knobbly cane shaft with iron mounts, the neck with old gummed label stating 'SPANISH SWORD STICK PURCHASED BY JNA IN SPAIN 1898'. Sold as an exempt item under Section 58 (2) of the 1968 Firearms Act, to be held as a curiosity or ornament

AN 18TH CENTURY GNARLED WOOD, INLAID PIN WORK AND PAINTED WALKING CANE, the smoothed top bearing inlaid inverted WB Wire Work initials above four knobbly protrusions and two eyelets, the shaft with further pin work initials 'KDG' and others and a geometric painted design to a further nine knobbly protrusions above a tapered section length 86cm (condition:- the stick has sections of splits for almost the entire length, areas of varnish have craquelure and the pin work is indistinct in places due to this)
TRIAL OF WARREN HASTINGS, a late 18th Century paper and bone fan, the fan printed with a monochrome view of a 'View of the Trial of Warren Hastings Esq at Westminster Hall', published by Cook & Co in 1788, the view with a sepia patterned ground and two ovals printed with labelled guide to notable figures and groups in the trial, the ovals are hand embellished with gold thread, sequins, paper flowers and fleur de lys, and all edges of the fan are bound with silver coloured paper, mounted in a late 20th Century wall hanging display case, case size 39cm x 60cm (Condition:- the fan has not been removed from the case, the sticks appear intact, some losses to the silver binding paper around the edges and a small tear above a stick to the right hand side)
19th century Hutschenreuther porcelain plaque, of oval form painted with a young girl holding a chamber stick and illuminated by the candlelight, with collectors label titled 'Good Night', impressed MR mark for Hutschenreuther and single digit size code '3' verso, within gilt foliate frame and mount, encased within a further ebonised box frame with burgundy velvet lining, plaque H17cm W13cm, box frame H34cm W29cm
