An early 20th century swagger sword stick, a 32.5cm plain blade with no maker's marks, with a carved horn elephant design handle, overall length 45cm, woven leather scabbard, total length 54cmBlade is surface scratched, signs of wear, some light rust marks, the horn handle has some natural flaws through it and general wear and a couple of small chips around the edges
A FINE 19TH CENTURY RHINOCEROS AND GOLD HIGHLIGHTED OFFICER'S SWAGGER STICK OF THE ROYAL SCOTS FUSILIERS GUARDS, 74cm over all length, the horn shaft with gold niello top, the collar engraved Captn Wynne French S.F. the top decorated with scrolling foliage, geometric designs and a mythical beast. The work on this piece is reflective of the work of Eusebio Zuloga of Toledo, together with a copy photograph of an officer with the same name who served during the Crimea.
