Two 19th century goose wing knitting sheaths, and four knitting sticks. Longest 31 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The longest knitting stick has a metal brace around the handle presumably as a repair. There are numerous small scuffs and scratches to this stick but no further evidence of any splits, repairs or restoration. The second large stick is in generally good order. There is a fracture to the top edge approximately 1 cm in length which arches over the top and down the other side. There is slight movement here when pressed. Other than this there is no other significant damage, no repairs and restoration other than very minor surface scuffs and old stress marks. The largest of the three smaller sticks is in generally good condition with no damage, repairs or restoration other than minor scuffs and marks that one would expect. The middle size stick is again in generally good order with no condition issues. The smallest stick is nibbled at the end and there is a small loss to the top where the needle would sit. There is a small fracture here also. The metal stick is in good order.
