Five early 19th Century and later stick back kitchen chairs, to include one stamped "Goodearl Bros Limited 1915" CONDITION REPORTS This is a matched set of five chairs - they do vary slightly in shape and style. Two of the chairs used to have seats which have now been removed revealing the nail / pin holes under the seat tops indicating they may have been upholstered at some stage. All chairs showing signs of age with various splits, knocks and scratches. Some re-gluing and some appear to have been gnawed slightly - possibly by a dog etc. A few old woodworm holes. Some variations to colour and height of seat but overall designs are similar. One chair showing signs of having been painted in the past and now stripped back. One chair has speckled black marks to the legs. One chair has a split to a spindle. One is stamped with "J.G", one is stamped with "J.G" and the number "108?", together with "Goodearl Bros Limited 1915", another is indistinctly stamped "Tenifia? Maker Wycombe?" and No'd. "1915" and also stamped "121 and with an "S". One chair is stamped "J.Williams 1914" and another chair is stamped "JK (?)".
