Lledo; Matchbox - Five wall mounted cabinets containing a total of 85 diecast model vehicles. Four of the cabinets measure approximately 30cms (H) x 33.5cms (W) x 3.5 cms (D) and one measures approximately 30cms (H) x 49.5cms (W) x 9cms (D). All cabinets are open fronted, and contain mainly promotional vans including Matchbox Ford Model A 'matchbox'; 'Pritt Stick'; 'PG Tips' and similar. Models appear to be in Excellent condition and the lot also contains a box of empty boxes which may the associated with the vehicles in the cabinets but have been unchecked by British Toy Auctions. A late 19th Century Chinese antique calligraphy water dropper in the form of a teapot. The porcelain water dropper having hand painted blue floral motifs and a glazed finish. Measures approx 9x15cmA water-dropper is a small device used in East Asian calligraphy as a container designed to hold a small amount of water. In order to make ink a few drops of water are dropped onto the surface of an inkstone. By grinding an ink stick into this water on the inkstone, particles come off and mix with the water, forming ink.
