A mahogany stick barometer, early 19th century, exposed mercury tube, paper printed dial marked Abraham Smith & Co, rectangular latched cistern cover, 95cm high 14.09.16, Pediment with chips, mouldings have come off below the dial, small dents in parts, cistern cover with a crack and chips, tube looks complete with mercury.

A reproduction stick barometer, Comitti, Holborn, circa 1973, turned finials, concealed mercury tube, single vernier silvered dial, thermometer tube, burr walnut veneered trunk, turned cisturn, case back with applied brass plaque inscribed 'specially made by O.Comitti & Son Ltd, 1973, serial No.92', 104cm high13.09.16, Case is clean, dial is discoloured, mercury tube with air bubbles, thermometer tube with air bubbles.

CONDITION REPORT: The fontage fan has mends to two of the sticks which are unobtrusive, slight discolouring to the lace, the mother of pearl fan has a couple of sticks which have become detached from the leaf, the guards and one other with mends, the other two fans are worn and mended.
