Late 19th century walnut boxwood cistern stick barometer with a double canted register and weather predictions, measuring barometric air pressure from 27 to 31 inches, arched glazed top and rectangular trunk, with twin vernier setting discs above a mercury Fahrenheit and Celsius scale thermometer, the rounded base with a circular moulded cistern cover.
A Victorian boxwood cistern tube stick barometer manufactured by Nagretti & Zambria, London, circa 1860 in an oak �Gothic� revival case, with a fleur-de-Lis carved pediment on a projecting cornice, the pediment supported by carved columns and pendants with carved spandrels flanking a central double register, with weather predictions and barometric air pressure from 27 to 31 inches, twin vernier scale on either side of the mercury tube recording �today's� and �yesterdays� air pressure, dial inscribed �Neggretti & Zambria instrument makers to her majesty, 1 Hatton Gardens, 50 Cornhill & 122 Regent Street� rectangular trunk with canted corners, two carved vernier setting discs above a boxed scale mercury thermometer measuring the temperature in degrees fahrenheit and centigrade, corresponding rectangular carved plinth to the cistern cover.Dimensions: Height: 104cm

Signs of glue to top and bottom section of staff. Left toes restored.

A nineteenth century Chinese fan with lacquered guards and sticks, the leaf painted with dignitaries and attendents in gardens and an interior; together with a late 18th / early 19th century fan with mother of pearl and gilt decorated guards, some of the sticks with pierced decoration, the leaf painted with Classical figures in a garden landscape (framed and glazed, not examined out of the frame)Condition report: 18th century European fan has one very small tear and area of glue to the right-hand guard stick. The guard stick is also damaged. Some minor losses to two or three of the other sticks. The reverse is not visible. Guard stick is 27cm. Open length is 48cm. Frame is 57cm by 38cm. Chinese fan has some water damage and tears where it has been pinned to the frame. Sticks are in reasonable order. Also can not see reverse on this fan. Chinese fan guard stick measures 28cm. Fan open width is 52cm. Frame is 80cm by 49.5cm.

The shawl with numerous holes. Parasol with a large repair to the main stick and the hem is loose. Wedding dress - stained and with loose stitching throughout. Victorian brown dress with tears, staining and loose stitch work.
