WALKING STICK - BELONGED TO WILLIAM JOYCE OR COMMONLY KNOWN AS LORD HAW HAW - FULL PROVENANCELord Haw-Haw was a nickname applied to William Joyce, who broadcast Nazi propaganda to the UK from Germany during the Second World War. The broadcasts opened with "Germany calling, Germany calling", spoken in an affected upper-class English accent.We have a letter attached which was written by Mrs Maureen Kerr to expolain how she became to have the walking stick. We have also a copy of the her memoirs of the time. Mrs Maureen Kerr later became a foudning member of the Royal British Legion in Garvagh, Northern Ireland. Please not that her original letter is being kept by her son but we can provide a copy of the letter.

Titles are White Chalk (2007 LP, 1740335 - Ex+/Ex+), Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea (2000 original EU pressing, ILPS 8099 with FSV in the runouts and machine stamped Ⓜ on the A side runout - please note that the record should be considered for collection filler only, sadly that although there are very few marks noted, there is a possible pressing fault with what appears to be a white piece of plastic 'moulded' into the vinyl at the end of song A3, this, unfortunately, causes the record to stick/complete with printed inner and insert in Ex+ condition/Ex+ sleeve still housed with the shrink that has had a light 'bending' effect to the sleeve), A Dog Called Money (538287631), Down By The Water (IS 607, including silver injection and paper label copies), The Wind (IS 730), Money Greedy (IS 701), The Wheel (single sided etched), The Community Of Hope (single sided etched) and Henry Bee (MUTE 189). With a boat, water and fish to the top, and fish to the underside, with a flat section 'U' shaped shank with a stamped fish to the inside. Tested as approximately 18ct gold. 7.89gProvenance: The Peter and Pat Crofts CollectionCondition report: Due to the 'U' shaped nature of the shank it is not possible to measure the finger size on a wheatsheaf stick.Minor surface marks/scratches to mount.Solder joins visible around the pierced plaque to the underside of the head.The head of the ring is flat on the underside, so does not sit correctly on a ring stick. We estimate the size to be V approximately. This could be sized down.

Tested as approximately 9ct gold with metal pin. 22 x 20mm, and a hunting horn brooch, with pin and 'C' catch. Emerald and diamond brooch: The horseshoe has been later converted from a stick pin - the pin removed and the horseshoe soft soldered to the bar brooch. Surface reaching inclusions to the emeralds. Pin very slightly bent. Hunting horn brooch: The horn is hollow. There are a couple of dings, and some cracks to the horn along the solder seam. The end of the horn is slightly out of shape.

An unglazed ceramic stick figure of a nude male with hair dressed in a pigtail, sockets to the shoulders to accept posable arms; mounted on a custom-made stand. 4.8 kg total, 56cm including stand (22"). From the collection of the late C. Roger Moss (OBE"). Roger Moss was a renowned art collector who, throughout the years, thanks to his determination and enthusiasm, was able to create an outstanding collection of artworks, most prominently from China and the Orient, but also from other cultures.
