A vintage tinplate clockwork performing Elephant, with fixed key, marked 'Made in U.S. Zone' and supplied with four balls, appears G/G+, although basic mechanism appears operational, the balls may not be of the correct size or there may have been some distortion as they tend to stick at the base of the spiral elevator. Please be advised that these toys have been on display for a considerable period of time and may need some coaxing to function correctly.

There are chips to the veneer along the base. General scuffs and scrapes. Hanging space 53cm wide and 45cm deep. Doors not warpedStool - upholstery is marked and faded. Colour fading.Chair - as stool. Small movement to the frame.Standard lamp - colour fading.Pot cupboard - colour faded. The moulding to the feet is heavily chipped.Beds - colour faded.
A George III gilt metal etui, worked in high relief with a figure to either side, within C-scrolls, leaves, flowers and foliage, the hinged cover opening to reveal fitted interior to include steel scissors, ivory double stick aide-mémoire, folding knife with gilt metal handles, and a snuff spoon (incomplete), 11cm. Hinge good.Catch good.Some tarnishing to extremities front and back.Otherwise exterior very good.Lacking three tools, but these present appear fair-good.
