An early 20th century cased stick barometer, by Negretti & Zambra of London, with a plaque inscribed for Rothamsted Experimental Station 1924, 94cm highCondition report: Overall condition looks to be complete. Unrestored, so dirty. Some dirt and discolouration to the dial. One of the buttons does turn, but the marker does not move, the other works fine. Has mercury inside and it moves, but we cannot confirm the accuracy. The thermometer has liquid and looks to work. The wood on the case is dry with some light marks, but could easily be polished to improve the appearance.
