A large Minton Majolica stick stand, modelled as a heron standing on one leg and holding a wriggling fish in its beak, before a clump of bulrushes, raised on a circular base, signed by Paul Comolera. A George III partner's desk stand By John & Thomas Settle, Sheffield 1815, the rectangular stand with shell corners and gadrooned borders raised on four paw feet, with two pen trays with stands containing hobnail cut bottles for ink and chalk and with a taper stick lid on box centre, and all raised on four claw feet 28cm wide, 33oz Notes: with presentation inscription to underside in contemporary script 'In Memory of a kind friend in Mrs Ann Ranstorm who Died 4th Sept 1816aged 76'
A gold and enamel stick pin of a racehorse and jockey, the rider decorated in the regimental racing colours of the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry. This pin was the property of Mr Edward Lycett Wheelwright OBE and was a gift from his wife to celebrate the success of his racehorse Royal Grey at Wetherby. Mr Wheelwright was an officer in the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry and used the regimental colours for his racehorses. The pin is believed to have been made by the Leeds and London jewellers Z Barraclough in the inter-war years.
