Victorian needlepoint picture of a dog `Poor Bob`, verso with hand written script `Poor Bob - Was a most faithful and affectionate dog, although very much attached to his Master, he was more particularly so to his Mistress, and was never so pleased as when in her company, or when caressed by her. When young his education was not neglected, he could fetch, jump over a stick, jump `Jim Crow`, give the paw etc etc, and when in want of anything was sure to beg for it. He would when desired bring his Masters slippers, and would carry from the kitchen to the bedroom any little matter which might be airing for him when dressing. He died on the 21st February 1854 aged 9 years and 3 month, greatly regretted by his owners`, 26cm x 27.5cm, in a period rosewood frame

A Fine Quality Early Chain Driven Wooden Pedal Car by G & J Lines Ltd., circa 1913, with open top, painted in two tone brown, with glass windshield and a tax disc inscribed "G & J Lines Ltd., Pedal Car 1913", buttoned leather seat, wooden steering wheel, wooden handled gear stick, tinplate front grille with starting handle, registration number L457, spoked wheels with hard rubber tyres, centrally set pedals attached to the back wheels with a chain and driveshaft, length 134cm, fitted with two brass carbide lamps and two horns to the front, a tinplate spirit lamp to the rear, with Shell Oil can and Humber tool kit.
