19th century English School, 'Portrait of an elderly gentleman holding a walking stick', 10.5 x 9cm, (An inscription to the reverse dated 1869 suggests the miniature was painted c1808 by Mr Peter Rogers, purported to be intimate friend and companion of the late celebrated Captain Cook named David Salaman? Stewart, apparently sailed in two of the voyages of 'Discovery').
A CHINESE PLATE KANGXI 1662-1722 Enamelled in England c.1760-70 in the Imari manner in iron-red and gilt with three ogee-petal panels reserved on a diamond diaper ground, alternating with a gilt figure of a European man holding a bundle on the end of a stick, the border with red and gilt floral detailing, 22.6cm. Provenance: the Helen Espir Collection, no.459. Purchased from Geoffrey Waters.
A Victorian silver inkstand, maker's mark of GR The pierced rectangular base engraved with a presentation inscription and dated 1849, mounted with two silver lidded glass inkwells and a taper stick. 26 cm wide. CONDITION REPORTS: Some denting, slight misshaping to feet, one inkwell cracked and re-glued, the other missing part of top section and chipped to base with lid detached but present, one lid with finial lacking but both slightly misshapen. Approximate silver weight 18 troy ounces.
A late Victorian Arts & Crafts oak hall stand settle - coat stand. In the manner of Shapland & Petter. Made of solid oak having crossbanded herringbone inlaid details. Each pedestal with locker and short drawer with stunning large raised coat racks to each. To the centre is a settle seat with hinged top, to rear behind is a stick stand drip tray with mirror back upright having further original cast iron coathooks. Measures: 200 x 130 x 60

Gesch”; an enamelled 1936 Olympic Games pin back badge (enamel chipped); a German Young Peoples’ Proficiency badge, in aluminium with RZM mark and maker’s code; Tag der Arbeit 1935 (2) and 1st May 1939 badges; Day of German Navigation 1935 badge; 2 metal eagle badges; a Luftwaffe cloth breast eagle; 3 stick pins for E boat and U boat (2), and 2 other items. A pump up walking stick air gun, with 60 bore shot barrel and inserted 120 bore brass rifle barrel with multi groove rifling, 36½ overall, barrels 18½”, the brass ferrule incorporating brass tipped wooden ramrod, with black lacquered finish and wooden knob. GC (laquer extensively chipped, not known if working)
A late Victorian Staffordshire figure of Little Red Riding Hood and three early 20th century figures including "Lord Byron", height 24cm and "Falstaff", height 17.5cm (4). CONDITION REPORT: Red Riding Hood - wolf has a loss to the face and there are areas of losses to the paint. Byron - reglued hand and crazing throughout. Falstaff - minor losses to paint and loss to tip of the walking stick. Other - reglued head and minor areas of losses to paint.
A small collection of jewellery comprising a hallmarked silver bright cut snap bangle, a 9ct yellow gold wedding band (cut), a 9ct white and yellow gold eternity ring, size O, a stick pin topped by the head of Mr Punch and a costume jewellery brooch and a 9ct yellow gold cased lady's wristwatch, the circular white dial set with Roman numerals, diameter 2.3cm, on a ribbon strap and a hallmarked silver bottle label bearing presentation inscription (7).
