A 19th century Chinese joss-stick stand Of hexagonal section, the metal lift out tray above pierced and carved figural panels supported on scroll feet terminating with temple dogs and with a pierced carved apron, the outer protective lacquered case painted with figures. 35 cm wide. CONDITION REPORTS: Generally in good condition, expected wear, some rubbing to decoration, losses/old repairs.

JOHN PEARSON. A John Pearson chamber stick. 'JP' stamp in oval. Width 32cm., diameter of pan 19cm. Note: This is item is not Newlyn copper. John Pearson art copper is not made in Newlyn but at his workshop near Tottenham Court Road, London. CONDITION REPORTS: Apart from a few minor 'dings' the chamberstick is in good, original condition. There are no splits, large dents or other flaws.
