A PAIR OF GEORGE II CAST SILVER CANDLESTICKS by John Cafe, London 1750, each with a knopped stem and shaped square base, engraved with crests and armorials. (2) 20cm high, 31.1 troy ounces grossThe crested sconces are unmarked but original. Good clear marks to the base of each stick, well spaced. Scratch weights to underside of sticks and to sconce collars. Engraved armorials and crests heavily rubbed. Both stand upright, very slight rocking to base of one. Minor dings and surface wear commensurate with age, but generally in good condition.
