A 19th Century Argentinian Malacca Sword Stick, the 60cm single edge fullered steel blade etched with foliage, dated 1887, the ricasso with maker's mark for J Motta, Buenos-Aires, with foliate engraved brass collar, ebony handle and brass ferrule, 81cm. Etching to blade is quite faint, some pitting. Bruising to handle and dent to ferrule tip.
A City Imperial Volunteers 9 ct. Gold-Mounted Presentation Bull's Pizzle Swagger Stick, inscribed to a band, ''To Charles Gervoise Easton in Remembrance of his Godfather Col. Sir Charles Boxall K.C.B.'', hallmarked London 1922, the top mount embossed with the regimental crest and initials, dated 1900 and inscribed ''Col. Sir Charles Boxall'', hallmarked London 1901, conforming gold tip (unmarked), original fitted case. Top mount with cracks and old small solder repairs. Tip reglued and with dents. Some slight old polish residue above and below central band. Case lacking one clasp but otherwise generally good.
