An ash walking stick, the handle forming the head of an army officer, sporting a monocle and bushy moustache with a skull and crossbones motif on the front of his cap, approx. 94 cm long The caricature may be based on Herbert Charles Onslow Plumer, first Viscount Plumer (1847-1932) who rose to the rank of General during the First World War and was known amongst the troops as 'Daddy Plumer'.
