Imitation pearls are later, and are very worn.
Three trays, one of Noritake part teaware, to include: pedestalled sucrier and jug, together with another jug, sugar basin, two tea cups and saucers, sandwich plate, two bowls another three saucers, four plates (they are not all of the same pattern) and lidded marmalade and jam pots on a stand with fruit knops, all decorated in gilt on a white and cream ground and a small club shaped lidded dish. Noritake coffee pot with five small cups and saucers and a milk jug, decorated with pink roses and other flowers with blue and gilt edgings. Small two-handled Noritake dish in red blue and gilt on a cream ground. Noritake navy blue and gilt on a yellow and white ground cups and saucers, sugar sifter and candle stick, together with a third tray, little lidded Noritake dishes, Noritake trio in navy blue, gilt and pink roses. Two squat vases with handles and another two vases etc. (3) (B.P. 21% + VAT)
A 18th century fan, the mother-of-pearl sticks with pierced and engraved decoration depicting musicians and birds within a scrolling foliate surround, the paper leaf hand-painted to one side with a maiden and two soldiers in an outdoor setting, the other side depicting a seated maiden in an outdoor setting, gilt highlighted floral borders, 45.5cm wide (at fault), together with another 18th century fan, with inlaid mother of pearl sticks with gold coloured guards, the paper leaf hand-painted with figures in 18th century dress, gilt floral borders, 39.5cm wide (at fault) (2) CONDITION REPORT:Mother of pearl guard fan: One of the guards has been broken and poorly repaired. One of the sticks is broken just below the leaf. Both sides of the leaf are somewhat faded and the leaf itself somewhat worn with foxing and staining in places.Gold coloured guard fan: Both guards are detached leaving ragged edges to the leaf. Two sticks are broken just above the pin but present. A further stick is broken but not present. The colours on both sides of the leaf are reasonably bright but will have faded somewhat over time. The gilt highlights to the leaf are in better condition on one side than the other. One guard is missing two turquoise coloured cabochons, the other is missing four.
