An interesting 19th century Zulu walking stick, the straight darkwood handle carved in the form of a horse’s foreleg and hoof, the shaft very finely copper wirebound overall to give a writhen band effect, the ferrule being a .577 Martini brass cartridge case, 31” overall. Good Condition. Plate 33
A cased 60 bore pump up walking stick air cane, 36¾” overall, barrel 17¾” with screw in interchangeable 80 bore rifled barrel; the body with black lacquered finish, bun shaped horn knob with German silver escutcheon and screw on brass ferrule (originally with ramrod attached). Good Condition and appears to be in working order; in a purpose made fitted wooden box with pump, spanner for unscrewing the valve unit, cocking key, cleaning rod (originally attached to the ferrule), and a bullet mould. Generally Good Condition (the case worn, some surface rust to the pump). Plate 62
A Victorian 22ct yellow gold wedding band, hallmarked Birmingham 1860, together with various late 19th/early 20th Century paste set jewellery to include a brooch, stick pins etc., along with shoe buckles, propelling pencils, a Victorian bangle, chains etc., all housed in a wooden jewellery box.
A lot of silver to include a Victorian Berthold Muller miniature chair, hallmarked London 1897, a model of a lion, a model of a donkey, an ingot shaped pendant, two pill boxes, a paper clip, a cycling club badge, a pair of cufflinks, a single broken cufflink, silver weight approx. 179g, together with a Dutch silver windmill, a chain, a ring and a stick pin.
A lot to include an Edwardian 15ct yellow gold garnet and seed pearl necklet, of halo design set with alternating garnets and seed pearls with a pear cut garnet dropper, stamped 15ct, together with two 9ct gold cased ladies wrist watches (one Bentima, the other Accurist), both on 9ct gold bracelet straps, Bentima hallmarked London 1967, Accurist hallmarked London, date letter indistinct, along with another 9ct gold cased wrist watch, hallmarked with Edinburgh import mark for 1929, a 15ct yellow gold seed pearl brooch and a 15ct yellow gold horseshoe stick pin, a 9ct rose gold wedding band, hallmarked Chester 1912, a 9ct rose gold seed pearl bar brooch, together with various jewellery to include a jet brooch, beads, bar brooches, Ingersoll wrist watches, chains, a spoon, stick pins etc.
