Minor marks, dents and scratches overall due to age and use, otherwise in good condition. The handles later.

An early 19th century mahogany stick barometer, the case with visible cane and boxwood strung head with lancet top, the unsigned, arched silvered dial with scale 27 to 31 and floral chased decoration, with turned cistern cover, 37 ½in. (95.25cm.) high, air bubbles in mercury. * Condition: There are some air bubbles trapped inside the mercury. Dial lacks top screw to fix to case. Case shows evidence of repolishing - some polish residue to dial.

A group of five Staffordshire figures, of a Sleeping Boy with a hat and wearing a blue jacket, white glazed body and base, 4 ½ in. (11.4cm.) high, figure of a man in pink trousers and a green jacket leaning on packing boxes, 3 ½ in. (8.9cm.) high, the other of a woman kneeling in a white robe, 3 1/8 in. (7.9cm.) high and a pair of miniature porcelain figures of a couple, the gentleman leaning on a stick and the woman carrying a book, marks beneath, 1 7/8 in. (4.8cm.) high, together with a pair of cat figures. (7) * Condition: Paint rubbed and paint losses.

AN AMERICAN SILVER SOAP BOX AND A SHAVE STICK HOLDER, TIFFANY & CO., NEW YORK, EARLY 20TH CENTURY hammer finished, each engraved with initials JMc in an oblong cartouche, rounded oblong box, cylindrical holder with scroll pierced cover, gilt interiors, Tiffany Sterling stamps, box 9.5cm long, holder 7.5cm high, 223gProvenance: John Francis McCormack (1884-1945, Papal Count McCormack) by repute, bought by the vendor’s mother at an auction in Dublin including effects from McCormack’s estate in the 50s or 60s. The superstar Irish lyric tenor at various times had an apartment on Park Avenue, a farm in Connecticut, and a home in the Hollywood Hills.

Two Chinese redware Yixing type teapots and covers, of octagonal form, two with Shishi finials, and a larger example by Spode, tallest 12cm.Condition Report: Large teapot is English Spode grubby and with two chips to the lid and a couple of slight losses to the ball on the bar. Teapot with small chip and small hair line crack to tip of spout. Other light red teapot with large chip to the stick in front of the dog. Two firing splits to main body, one of which has a small chip by this, and small chips to the tip of the spout. Smaller teapot with minor wear but generally ok.
