A Decorated Carved Bone Button Stick, 19th century, scrimshaw worked with geometric patterns, thistle and flowers, named to "A Webster 708, 92 Regt. 1841, St. Lucie`, 19cm Private 708 Alexander Webster of The 92nd (Highland) Regiment of Foot, enlisted in 1828, he served for the next 21 years with the colours, 1828 - 1834 Ireland, 1834 - 1836 Gibraltar, 1836 - 1841 Malta, and April 1841 - December 1843 West Indies with the Regimental HQ at Barbados with detachments deployed to St Lucia and Dominica.
