PALITOY - One cardback punched and one unpunched. Both figures are opened. Jawa bubble is the same as used for R2-D2, a folded yellow card insert was placed behind the figure to move it forward. 1st century BC-1st century AD. A bronze figure of Faunus (Greek Pan) standing nude with vine-stick in his left hand and fur mantle to his left shoulder, with goat-legs and stub horns. Cf. Rolland, H. Bronzes Antiques de Haute Provence, Paris, 1965, item 137 for type. 139 grams, 95mm (3 3/4"). Ex an important Dutch collection; acquired on the European art market in the 1970s. [No Reserve] Fine condition.
HUGUENOT SILVER. Two George III silver taper sticks by Simon Jouet. Each stick with cast shell form base & one with flying eagle crest, the other with lion rampant crest.
