A 1960's 9ct gold and three stone sapphire ring with diamond chip spacers, three other dress rings and a stick pin. Condition: Sapphire ring- Stones in good order. Shank and setting in generally good condition, with minor scratches commensurate with some wear. Size O.Two 9ct gem set eternity rings, one set with tiny garnets?, the other with tiny zircons?, both very worn and quite poor condition, both size K.18ct and plat illusion set diamond ring- Quite worn setting, no damage to the stone, approximately 0.08cts. Size K. Gross weight 2.7 grams.Stick pin has a 9ct head, base metal pin. Pin a little mis-shapen, otherwise reasonable condition, 59mm, gross weight 1.2 grams.3 x 9ct rings gross weight 8.4 grams.

A yellow metal and scarab set stick, three others including Essex crystal style, pearl and pear and diamond, largest 82mm. Condition: Essex style is gilt metal. Two probable repairs to the back of the scarab and one leg is broken. Crescent moon pin is missing a seed pearl and one is a replacement.

Two of the tiny diamonds each are chipped. The sapphire has a few tiny chips/nibbles to some of the facet edges. Sapphire approx. 3.2mm in length.

Several very minor nibbles around the perimeter of the stone. Internal flaw visible on one side and from the back.

A pair of Edwardian silver corinthian column dwarf candlesticks by Williams Ltd, Birmingham, 1905, height 16.4cm, weighted, a.f. Condition: Quite tarnished. The base of one stem has an old repair (visible solder). There are a couple of minor knocks also to the stepped area. The other stick has a tiny hole appearing to two of the corner angles at the base of the column. Hallmarks clear although there is some rubbing to the maker's marks.

WW2 German Eastern Front Carved Wolchow Stick, with geometric designs and large Iron Cross to the centre. Dated 1943 and with “OSTFRONT SMOLENSK”. This example has had a later applied brass cap from a cartridge mounted to the end. Measures 86cms in length. These items were carved by locals on the Eastern Front and often purchased as gifts for officers who were either leaving the regiment or leaving the Eastern Front itself. The city of Smolensk is situated 220 miles south-west of Moscow. On July 16th 1941 the Germans captured the city and repulsed Russian counter attacks. In late 1943 Goring ordered the total destruction of the city in lines with the scorched earth policy, but this order was ignored by Generaloberst Gotthard Heinrici, resulting in his dismissal as commander of the town. The city was liberated by the Red Army on 25th September 1943 and was given the rare title of Hero City.
