Pair of late Victorian silver Corinthian column table candlesticks with square bases H20cm Birmingham 1898 Maker J Sherwood & Sons - Condition Report Approx 26.8oz gross (weighted bases), structurally sound, hallmarks rubbed, sit flat on a surface, pin prick dent to one at the base which has pierced through and one other to the body, the top edge to this is slightly sloping downwards, small dent and very small hole (knocked) no structural damage, sconce also slightly dented at the base, the other stick has a few small dents to the base and a split at the corner, very small pin prick hole to the body, one does not quite stand up straight
Pair of Victorian silver Corinthian column candlesticks on square bases H15cm London 1888 Maker Martin Hall & Co, only one sconce hallmarked with Sheffield assay mark - Condition Report Approx 20.7oz gross (weighted bases), both structurally sound and sit flat on surface, pinprick dents to both throughout around the base of the body (do not appear to have pierced through), one has a couple of small splits at the top splits at the top looking down (when sconce is removed), this has also lost its inner lining and a couple of small holes at the top within the detail, associated sconces, tarnished and rubbing in areas, right hand stick does not quite stand straight

A DUTCH SILVER MINIATURE TOMBOLA" by Johannes Van Geffen, circa 1740the base shaped as a tripod table, the top engraved with a scene of two adults and a child walking (possibly biblical) and with sections numbered from one to twelve, the detachable revolving top formed as an acrobat on a balancing wire, holding a hat in his right hand and a stick in his left, height: 12.5cm, (66.77 grams). Provenance: Part of the collection (lots 167-231) formed by Baron Michiels van Verduynen (1885-1952), the Dutch ambassador to the Court of St James’(1939-1942). A DUTCH SILVER MINIATURE CHAMBER STICK probably early 18th century, circular, with a cylindrical socket and another similar of hexagonal form with an openwork scroll handle, the latter with a later duty stamp, otherwise apparently unmarked, length: 8.2cm, height: 1.6cm (2). ATTRIBUTED TO HM QUEEN VICTORIA (1819-1901) An en grisaille sketch of deer in a landscape ink and wash, 15.5cm x 15.75cm, framed together with an ink inscription "From the Queen's blotting book, Scone Palaceâ€. Note: Queen Victoria and Prince Albert stayed at Scone Palace with the 4th Earl of Mansfield on 6th September 1842, during their first visit to Scotland. The royal tour, which lasted two weeks, was largely organised by the 5th Duke of Buccleuch, Lord Lieutenant of the County of Midlothian and Gold Stick of Scotland, and his wife Charlotte, who was Queen Victoria's Mistress of the Robes, in conjunction with the Prime Minister Sir Robert Peel. Victoria described Scone in a letter to her uncle Leopold, King of the Belgians, as "fine, but rather gloomy". A watercolour of Scone by William Leighton Leitch was later presented to Victoria and Albert as a souvenir of their visit. In 1846 Leitch became drawing master to Her Majesty and The Royal Family, a post he held for twenty two years.The Queen was a keen artist, with animals providing a common subject for the Monarch's watercolours and drawings. In 1847, on another trip to Scotland, The Queen produced a pencil drawing of a stag in a highland landscape after Edwin Henry Landseer's mural on the drawing room wall at Ardverikie Shooting Lodge.
