A slender vase with a wide rim and with a green and brown mottled colour, signed to the base with initials 'VSL' (24.5cms high). Also with an Italian glass vase of triangular form with curved rim, with a yellow, black and blue striped body and other bands of colour, with original stick on label 'Yvolux', 21cms high., and a slender iridescent glass vase (unmarked, 25cms high). (3). *Condition: Val St Lambert, good condition Yvolux, seems generally fine and rings nicely, the base has some wear and small chip around the pontil, Iridescent vase, seems fine, the inside of the rim has a small area which looks a little different, but I think this is from manufacture.

THE SWORD AND HEADDRESS OF MAJOR JOHN WILLIAM BROOKE TINDALL 3RD BATTALION THE 7TH RAJPUT REGIMENT, 82cm blade by Wilkinson, serial no. 60417 for 1926, etched with scrolling foliage, crowned Royal arms, GRI cyphers and owner's initials J.W.B.T, regulation pierced steel hilt, wire bound fishskin grip, contained in its field service scabbard, complete with knot, bag, 2 x plated scabbards, spare field service scabbard, worn swagger stick and a further plated 7th Rajput Regiment example, together with two hat tins containing, the first containing an Officer's peaked cap with canvas cover, badge to the VII RAJPUT REGIMENT, inter-war pith helmet of "Bombay Bowler" type by Asquith & Lord, another "The Conforma" and a quilted or "Cawnpore Tent" example, the second tin containing leather gaiters, khaki linen trousers, white linen mess jacket and waistcoat, white pith helmet and a khaki pith helmet with cloth divisional badge. Assorted rank pips and crowns, regimental buttons, three pairs of shoulder titles or pagri badges - 7 RAJPUT and a pair of officer's white metal Katar dagger collar badges to the 7th Rajput, three white metal Tyndale family crest plaid brooches and a white metal elephant charm. Major J. W. B. Tindall of the 3/7th Rajput Regiment was killed on operations, by a sniper, in the Khaisora Valley in September 1936. (Parcel)
A 19TH CENTURY SCOTTISH SWORD STICK, the horn handle with yellow metal Hamilton clan crest, above white metal collar engraved with owner's initials, rubbed, over KINNEDDER OAKLEY FIFE, 74cm tapering blade inscribed FOR MY COUNTRY ET KING to both sides and with GR to one side and the Royal coat of arms to the other, malacca haft with push button mechanism, 95.5cm long over all.
A LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY SWORD STICK, the horn handle in the form of a horse's hoof with associated 18th Royal Hussars badge applied to the sole, push button mechanism and white metal collars revealing the 29.5cm diamond section tapering blade with faceted bands stamped BRIGG, tapering wooden haft with decorative white metal inlay and ferrule, 90cm long over all.
