A mahogany stick barometer, signed Manticha & Co, circa 1820, broken arched pediment, exposed mercury tube with a single vernier silvered dial signed, thermometer tube, barber pole stringing inlaid borders, 97cm high20.04.17, Half of the pediment is missing, dial front door frame is loose and the veneers have come off and are lifting, case with small scratches and dents, later cistern cover is loose with one screw missing, dial is discoloured and needs silvering, mercury tube with air bubbles.
A 9 carat gold ruby and diamond fly stick pin, with a round cut and oval cut ruby body and eight-cut diamond eyes and wings, in white rubbed over settings, measures 6cm by 1.3cm The stick pin is in good condition. It is hallmarked with sponsor's mark 'BJ', London, 1979. Total estimated diamond weight 0.05 carat approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour G/H, clarity SI1/SI2. Gross weight 2.2 grams. Condition Report made 6th March 2017.
A pheasant stick pin, realistically modelled with enamelled detail, measures 2cm by 7cm, cased and a seed pearl set stick pin, cased (2)The pheasent stick pin is in good condition. It is stamped '18CT' and in our opinion would test as gold. The seed pearl stick pin is in good condition with slight wear to the seed pearls. It is stamped 'SS18' and in our opinion would test as gold. Gross weight 3.8 grams. Condition Report made 13th April 2017.
A Victorian mourning stickpin, a central glazed locket containing plaited hair within a frame reading 'In Memory of' in black enamel, head meausres 2.4cm by 2cm, a turquoise set knot stickpin, a cannetille stickpin set with turquoise and a foil backed gemstone brooch, measures 5.5cm by 1.7cm (4) The mourning stick pin is in good condition. The reverse is engraved 'C. Boby OBT. 22nd Oct. 1842. Oct.61'. The knot stickpin is in good condition with some discolouration to the turquoise. The cannetille stickpin is in good condition. The foil backed brooch appears to have been converted from a pair of pendants or earrings. It fastens with a c-hook. Gross weight 20.0 grams. Condition Report made 24th April 2017.
A sapphire and diamond stick pin, a round cut sapphire within a border of old cut diamonds in yellow claw settings, total estimated diamond weight 0.70 carat approximately, cluster measures 9.6mm by 10mm approximately The pin is in good condition. It is not hallmarked or stamped but in our opinion would test as gold. The sapphire measures 6mm x 5mm. The setting prevents taking of the depth measurement. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour H/I, clarity SI1/SI2. Gross weight 2.2 grams. Condition Report made 23rd January 2017.
