*18th CENTURY AND LATER, NORTH EUROPEAN EBONISED AND SPECIMEN MARQUETRY COLLECTORS CABINET ON STAND, the hinged rectangular top above a moulded cornice and a pair of panelled cupboard doors, inlaid with starburst designs in exotic woods, enclosing eleven drawers around the central, conforming cupboard doors, housing two short drawers (originally four, but two missing) raised on a stand with central slide to the frieze and five barley twist supports with bun type turned feet, tied by flat stretchers, 62 1/4"" (158.1cm) high overall, 39"" x 18"" (99 x 45.7cm), the cabinet, 32 1/4"" (81.9cm) high, 37 3/4"" x 16 1/4"" (95.9 x 41.3cm), aged paper labels with indistinct inscriptions to the back of the top section and the top of the slide, losses to exotic wood on outer doors, later hinges, ebonised finish refreshed and all drawers lined with oak effect stick paper
