A framed militaria group for Corporal George Ambrose Yates, No.1962 3rd Battalion Coldstream Guards: comprising;- stamped brass kit bag tag, three Carte de Visite photographs of G Yates in uniform, swagger stick, collar badges, hat band, medic's hat band, red plume, helmet plate and related items, together with two framed group photographs of G Yates and a framed Member Roll for the '3rd Bttn Coldstream Guards, South Africa War'Note - George Alfred Yates enlisted at Exeter on the 6th September, 1898 and served seven years in the army and a further five in the reserves. He was discharged from service in 1917 due to injuries sustained during the Boer War.
