The letter comments on photographs sent by Armstrong which `prove that there is hope for English girlhood yet! That unsuspected beneath a charming face, there can beat the black heart of a St Trinian`. Searle asks to keep the photos as part of his `St T`s in memoriam`, noting that his daughter has just started school and can expect `to suffer for her father`s sins!` The three items which have been laid down on a red board before framing are browned but otherwise fine (Illustrated)
