Two Chinese Canton folding fansQing dynasty, 19th centuryComprising a black lacquered fan painted to the sticks in gild with figures within a garden setting, painted to the leaves with bright colours on paper depicting a continuous figurative scene to both sides, 51cm across; another fan with pierce and carves sticks, leaves painted with figurative scenes to both sides within stylised borders, 60cm across; of the figures are made of thin ivory pieces. (2)Ivory exemption no. VVUHKW7R and 2KEMQSU8清十九世紀 折扇兩件Condition Report: The sandalwood fan with some cracking to paper along folds and near the edges - with at least three sticks having come detached and one fold having been reattached. Numerous ivory faces have been reattached.The lacquer fan with one stick broken near the handle, numerous faces and robes reattached, some tearing and rubbing to pigment, one ivory face lost. Wear along folds.
Victorian painted pine chest of drawers, two short and two long drawers, bracket feet, width 88cm, depth 50cm, height 83cm.Condition report:There have been two mdf blocks added to the underside to raise it off the ground by an additional inch from the original bracket feet. There looks to be a short split to the top extending from the left hand side under the paint. The moulded outline of the top has suffered some historic losses to the front right corner. The drawers stick a little but are generally clean and sound. Handles replaced. Mouldings to the drawer fronts added to match that of lot 382. Paint chips and flakes throughout, some other random surface marks.

Labels are bright and clean with BBC Gramophone stamps on each side. The record is in sharp Ex condition, displays a couple of hairline/ wispy paper marks. The sleeve has BBC Library removal sticker marks/residue that has caused it to stick to the inside of the PVC plastic wallet. G+ condition).

Item looks to be 19th century. there is wax in the top implying it may have been used as a candle stick. there may well be a screw in the top but it is very hard to see the inside clearly because of all the wax in there.
