A Victorian mid-oak Admiral Fitzroy's Storm stick barometer by Negretti & Zambra, with mercury cistern tube, arched enamel dial with double scale, mercury thermometer to trunk, rectangular tablet cistern cover, 42¼in. (107.25cm.) high. Condition: Very original and unrestored. Oak would benefit from cleaning and polishing - polish has faded and rubbed in places. Tube, dial and thermometer in good condition, with no damage. Vernier knobs present and working. A good,, untouched example.
An Ivory and Silk fan early 19th century, pink ivory silk leaf, lace to top edge, floral pattern lace sprigs to body, rectangular tapering stick guards with small fretwork panels, 14in. (35.5cm.) long, in the original box; together with a late-Victorian wedding fan, with ivory lace and gauze leaf, tapering ivory stick guards carved with floral and foliate design, 12in. (30.3cm.) long, in the original box. (2) Condition: Minor repair to attatch guards to material, some discolouration to fan and end guards, majority of lace to wedding fan subject to splits.
An Ivory Bris fan early 19th century, a finely pierced and fretworked fan, when extended reveals three oval reserves with urn and bird decoration, twenty eight sticks between two carved and pierced stick guards of elongated tapering oval form, 10in. (25.3cm.) long; together with two carved ivory fan holders, 19th century, carved in the Dieppe manner, tri- sectional, 7½in. (19.2cm.) long. (3). Condition: Damage to top of thirteenth stick, tip damage to twenty eightth stick.

A walnut marquetry stick barometer in the late 17th century style, the shaped engraved silvered register below two twist columns and floral marquetry panel with shaped top and two finials, exposed tube flanked by trailing flowers, a turned cistern cover below 124cm (48in) some shrinkage to the edge mouldings indicating some age; dates probably to the late 19th or early 20th century. Register is unsigned.
