This custom rifle was built using the original Remington 40-X action. A stainless steel barrel chambered for .308 has been installed. Features jeweled bolt, custom Olympic style target stock with full aluminum adjustable under-rib, pistol grip, adjustable trigger. Stick on bottom of grip cap reading "Brian P. Moore". Sports a Leupold base with Leupold target scope. This gun has been used in competition, as evidenced by the numerous dings and abrasions on stock. Fine bore and action. Should be a good shooter. Produced by Thompson as a modern reintroduction of the Model 1927 A5, this is listed as a Thompson semi-automatic pistol, as it does not have a buttstock. Chambered for the .45 ACP. Produced by Auto-Ordanance. Comes with an original (vintage) Thompson drum magazine stamped "1928 Model Type L". Has the finned 14" barrel and pistol grip walnut stocks. Curved 13-3/4 inch body with raised section, inscribed with initials "J.P." and engraved with a mermaid, an upright monkey with a walking stick, a snake in a tree, biting a fox, and detailed borders, reminiscent of New England engraving. Finely carved spout with two relief scalloped rings , half circles engraved around the lower ring. Slightly bulbous wooden plug. This horn was probably carved by a sailor. The original 1757 illustration showing the monkey depicted on this horn was found and a copy comes with the powderhorn. Very good condition, wood plug shows dry patina with losses to finish and raised grain. Body has a nice dark patina with some scattered marks, areas of wear to carving, and some period additions and minor removals of engraving. A few scattered marks from use. Serial Number-.;
This is a Thompson 1927 A-1 Tommy gun. Made famous in Chicago during the roaring 20's. This version is chambered for the 45 ACP cartridge and features a 18" finned barrel. Matte blue finish on frame with rust blue finish on barrel. Has two walnut fingered grooved pistol grips satin oil finish with a matching buttstock. Comes with a drum magazine, two stick magazines, in the black luggage case with instructions. Gun shows as new condition. Also includes case. Correction: Semi-auto. Recent manufacture. A William IV miniature silver chamberstick, by Henry Wilkinson & Co, Sheffield 1837, 4.5cm high to sconce, 60g. Condition Report: Overall wear and tear seen, the stick itself the worse with a split and signs of previous repair seen to handle. The sconce and snuffer bent. Armorial to the snuffer. Marks to the sconce and snuffer are clear, the stick rubbed.
Miscellaneous Silver Plate, including a large rose bowl, approx 32 cms dia x 19 cms high, the bowl having floral decoration with fluted pedestal base, silver plated candle stick, four bottle coasters, two tot measures, single coffee spoon, a silver hallmark Whisky label, Sheffield hallmark dated 1981, together with silver plated ice tongs.
JAMES & NATHANIEL CRESTWICK; a Victorian hallmarked silver shaped rectangular inkstand centred with an embossed baluster pounce/pen nibs box surmounted with a chamber stick acting as a lid, with snuffer, flanked by two faceted clear glass ink bottles and with scroll pierced pen rests, on cast scrolling supports, engraved "Presented to Mr F. Tryon Deeping 21st July 1874" to one side and "As a token of affection and esteem by friends at Salem Chapel, Peterborough" to the other, Sheffield 1853, 27.5 x 20cm, approx. 24.7ozt. CONDITION REPORT: Rim on both pots uncemented to silver collar, candlestick loose on base, makers mark rubbed.

ATTRIBUTED TO SHOOLBRED; an early 20th century stick stand with black marble top above single drawer flanked by two brass framed sections above tin trays centred with a shelf with floral ceramic tiled back, width 103cm. CONDITION REPORT: It appears that there is something missing from the top of the back behind the marble top. Each stick stand section has got a drilled hole to the board so it is possible that there is something missing.
A 19th century oak stick back Windsor Armchair, the hoop back over downswept arms and a shaped seat supported on well turned legs united by an turned 'H' form stretcher, 100cm high x 62cm wide CONDITION REPORT: Re-polishing done to a quite good standard, the legs exhibit the usual chips, knocks and wear commensurate with age, the restoration is very dark overall but the chair is sturdy.
