AN ADAMS & CO PATENT MAHOGANY PHOTOGRAPHER'S WALKING-STICK TRIPOD, C1920 the nickel plated brass action stamped ADAMS & CO 24 CHARING CROSS RD LONDON/PAT NO 23327-14, with brass stays and bun shaped pommel, 81cm h Adams' Walking Stick Tripod featured in the company's advertisement in the British Journal of Photography Almanac 1925, where it is described in detail and was apparently "rigid enough even for half plate Reflex Cameras". Weighing about 19ozs, it cost 65shillings (£3.25). ++Complete and in good condition with the odd minor scratch around the lower part of the legs only, in working order, unrestored
