Troughton & Simms 19thC mahogany stick barometer with carved and turned decoration to case. The white glass dial calibrated with the usual weather observations and barometric scale and thermometer below protected by carved convex glass cover. 110cm tall. (Despite his skill, Edward Troughton lived a semi-reclusive life and was characterised by his snuff-stained wig and ear trumpet.
