A GROUP OF BLUE AND WHITE 'HATCHER CARGO' ITEMS Transitional period, mid-17th Century Comprising: a small kendi decorated with cranes within multiple borders; and four miniature bottle vases, three with floral decoration and one with blue glaze and incised decoration; together with a small rabbit or frog form water dropper or joss stick holder The kendi 13cm high; the vases approximately 11cm high Provenance: Lots 1-15 - A private collection of 'Hatcher Cargo' items, acquired from Michael Hatcher by the current vendor Condition: Condition Report The kendi with two chip to the upper rom, a small chip to the mouth of spout; teh blue glazed bottle vase with a chip to teh foot and as such does not stand well; one other base with a small chip to rim; many pieces with some degradation to the glaze due to sea burial This is an auction of preowned and antique items.
