Rare painted Queen Anne style wooden country Manor dolls house and contents, English 1770-1790, the façade and sides in painted red brick, with quoining stones, glazed windows with painted window bars, key-stones and sills, three steps leading to grand and decorative covered- porch with hinged panel door, flanked by further glazed windows, the painted black pitched roof with castellated edge, clock and three tall red brick painted chimneys, on a brown painted wooden hinged base with railings, front opens in two wings to each side of central entrance, to reveal a single elegant room, with yellow papered walls, having numerous printed pictures to walls, and borders, paper tile effect floor and moulded white fire-place, later furniture includes: bone wardrobe with pierced decoration, soft metal settee with blue velvet upholstery, cradle with baby and another settee, Walterhausen settee and chairs, bone chandelier and side-table with candle stick and more, Parian-type doll and another, (condition: generally very good and original, a few old repairs to parts of roof, hinges replaced), 18” (46cm) tall, 30” (76cm) wide, 12 1/4” (31cm) deep. A JAPANESE NETSUKE OF A KITSUNE FOX BY KAZUO MIZUTANI (B.1932) 20TH CENTURY The fox dressed as an itinerant monk, with a large hood, long robes and a wooden stick, its head turned to dexter and with the eyes inlaid, together with a small bronze fox depicted sitting on its haunches, 7cm and 3.8cm respectively. (2) Provenance: from the collection of Frank Robertson (d.2014). The fox-priest purchased in Tokyo in 1988 directly from Kazuo Mizutani.

Two VHS tapes, one with approx 24 minutes of footage to include circa 1990s TV interviews firstly with Keith and then with Ronnie and Bill, followed by a segment on the filming of a video for 'Willie and the Poor Boys'. The second tape features approx 6 minutes of footage taken at Art Wood's birthday party in July 2002, and features shots of Ronnie. A USB stick with copies of both VHS contents is included in the sale.

A Victorian gilt metal stick-pin, mounted with an ancient Egyptian Scarab seal (possibly stone or pottery) to/w another stick pin with 9ct horseshoe and fox finial, another gilt metal pin with agate-set horseshoe top, a stick-pin set with oval coral bead, one with half pearl and a gilt metal tie-pin modelled with a riding croup (possibly of later date) (6)Prov: The Annie Macdonald Collection and ArchiveAnnie Macdonald (1832-1897) was for thirty years Queen Victoria's Maid; Annie was married to a Balmoral footman. Her devotion to the Queen was reciprocated; she is referred to in the Queen's Journal and a Life in the Highlands as 'My Dear Annie'; the Queen stood as Godmother to her daughter Victoria and in turn to her son Henry Blaker (see lot 150). Watercolour portraits of Annie and her husband by Queen Victoria hang in Osborne House, and her photographic portrait is believed to be in the Royal Collection at Windsor. She was too ill to attend Her Majesty at the 1897 Diamond Jubilee celebrations in London, and died in Scotland while the Queen was away: much distressed, the Queen held a Memorial Service at Windsor in her honour. Annie Macdonald is buried in Crathie Church, Balmoral
