A Power opaque glass petrol pump globe, of lozenge form, the base marked to the collar 0.6.65 and HAILWARE BRITISH MADE, also marked on the inside of the collar THIS GLOBE IS THE PROPERTY OF NATIONAL BENZOLE CO LTD, 48.5 cm highchips to the rim/collar, crack running up through the collar footFrom the owner:This is a late50’s early 60’s sign painted Power name rather than glass raised letters. It has a later stick on attachment saying 'Regular from the mid 60’s when petrol grades changed and there was premium and regular. Power became the regular brand and National Benzole the premium brand. This particular pump top ws installed at Stan Smiths garage in the village of Batcombe from new, stayed there long after Stan stopped selling petrol and used it as a bus depot and was given to my mother along with the 'Not for Resale' top which was on the pump for the diesel for the coaches in about 1985.

Eight Lladro figurines including girl with posy, polar bear, goose, girl with candlestick, seated girl with posy, girl holding violin, yawning boy, seated girl with stick. Neck of violin has been broken off. Small nibble to one of lily petals on seated girl, and five lilies are missing stamens. Standing girl with lilies has lost top flower head from her bunch. The window ornament has its original box which measures 4"L x 4"W x 1.5"H. The largest piece, the ornament, measures 2"L x 0.75"W x 3"H. Swarovski etched backstamp. An early 20th Century Austrian frosted pink glass figure of a hawk as a scent bottle with gilt metal mounts on a clear frosted glass and bakelite embellished gilt brass base stamped to underside "Made in Austria", the gilt brass cover with central clear and frosted glass stick and Chinese style silk tassels, 18 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Two feathers have cut like marks in them but they don't appear to be chips. There is an area of discolouration to the back of one of the clear frosted glass rectangles on the base. The black pieces are all loose and one is crack and re glued. There are two bruises to the inside of the neck. The scent applicator has been broken at the end and re-glued into the top. General wear and tear conducive to age and use include some small marks, light surface scratching and in need to a good clean. See images for more details.
