Titles include X Certs (Japanese original special 'limited edition' sleeve GP 670 - Ex condition LP and with the bonus 45 Choosey Susie 17F-3 in Ex+/Ex+ condition, complete with insert and 'half' of the obi, one side has unfortunately been torn/Ex light edgewear to the LP sleeve), Black And White (original UK UAK 30222 - Ex/Ex and complete with the 'free beige' coloured 45 Mean To Me that was issued with the first 75000 copies, Ex+ condition with insert), IV (UAG 30045), La Folie (LBG 30342), Dreamtime (EPC 26648), All Live And All Of The Night, Aural Sculpture, Feline (textured sleeve), The Raven ('stock' image) with sevens including Something Better Change (p/s), Bear Cage (p/s), Strange Little Girl (p/s), All Day And All Of The Night (p/s) and Golden Brown (p/s). Condition is often well presented VG+ to Ex+. A fantastic back catalogue!
A preserved and mounted taxidermy specimen polar bear cub mask (Ursus maritimus)Naturalistically modelled with glass inset eyes, mounted on a rope mounted wooden plaque. The plaque 22.5 cm wide. CONDITION REPORTS: Ears both loose, some wear to mount and nose, some wear around eyes, dirty, plaque later, general wear.
A Swiss Georges Favre Jacot (Locle) continental silver and enamel hunter pocket watch, key wind 5 jewel movement, having white enamel Arabic and Roman numeral dial with Arabic numeral seconds dial, the case decorated russet sunburst guilloche enamel with engraved border and central panel to both sides with blue and white champleve work, case interior stamped Swiss bear .875 silver mark, "Argent 0,875" and "84", lacking key. (gross weight 105.9g)
An Arts and Crafts Silver Twin Handled Caster, attributed to A.E.Jones for Connell, mark of George L. Connell, Birmingham 1913, cylindrical with spreading foot and planished finish, domed pull off cover, the body applied with stylised foliage to each side, 11.5cm high, 3ozt Although bearing the makers mark for George Laurence Connell, this model also seen with the mark of A E Jones. Pieces manufactured by Jones for Connell had to bear the Connell punch. Clear marks to body, part marked to cover. The marks to cover are somewhat worn. The occasional light knock or bruise but generally in good order.
Notice by The Most Noble Bernard-Edward Duke of Norfolk Earl Marshal and Hereditary Marshal of England, granting a coat of arms to Ann Rutherford, of the town and county of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, spinster, daughter of Thomas Rutherford…..take and use the surname of Atkinson only, and also bear the arms of Atkinson, etc, dated 1827, incorporating two wax seals and enclosed in red and gilt hide-bound box, together with associated letters and a copy of The London Gazette, December 4, 1827, reporting the grant of arms (a lot)
