An unusual and interesting collection of medallions and awards to Mrs Elspeth Marion Collins, comprising an oval framed collection of medals detailing skiing prizes, ice skating prizes, International Hockey Medal 1912-13, Belgian Hockey Club, "Big Bear", etc, all c.1908-1914, also a reproduced photograph of Mrs Collins aboard a sailing yacht (2).

Three similar 19th century Chinese porcelain bowls, each painted in underglaze blue with four alternating panels of figures and landscape scenes beneath a prunus border, each bear underglaze blue four character Kangxi mark to base, diameter 12.5cm, height 6cm. CONDITION REPORT: Nibbles to the rims of two in particular but generally in good condition.
Lot 126
A rare and early Steiff clockwork teddy bear, the right arm twisting to start the clockwork action of both arms rotating to self right the bear, retaining Steiff button to left ear, height 33cm. Given as a gift to the vendor's father in 1913. CONDITION REPORT: The bear has been better days, the right ear is missing, there has been restitching and repadding throughout, lots of areas of loss to the plush. The vendor also thinks that in her lifetime it had a growler, but this is also now not working.

Two "Sunny Jim" dolls "Adverts for Force" (a cereal), in stuffed cotton, height 38cm, available in printed cotton sheets form to be cut out, sewn and stuffed, one possible original from 1935 model, the other a modern reproduction, also a stuffed cotton female doll holding a teddy bear, a soft bodied soldier doll made from printed sheet cotton during WWI with varied insignia, height 43cm a further stuffed female doll and a small Humpty Dumpty.

Together with: Wells (or similar) tinplate bear, height 12cm (F); tinplate clockwork penguin with velveteen covering, when wound penguin moves forward, arms/head move, and beak opens and closes, height 13cm (G); tinplate clockwork dog with rotating tail, length 10.5cm (F/P). Steiff 'Heimarbeit Ablieferung' cardboard box for home worker, stencil to base and lid, overall G/F condition with some mottling, measures 30 x 45 x 54cm, containing various Steiff books, miniature teasets, boxed plate and empty boxes including Teddy Bear Nimrod Set box and Maulkorb Teddy 1908 box.
