There are some dents and damages. The brooch pin is missing. They bear no hallmark, nor stamps, but in our opinion would test as gold. Gross weight 20.0 grams. CR made 20th March 2013

A Pair of Victorian Amethyst Drop Earrings, a bead suspends an oval drop with an oval cut amethyst set centrally and rope twist decoration, a hinged bar to the reverse which suspends fringing, with hook fittings for pierced ears, drop length 6.5cm The earrings are in fair condition. The are a little discoloured, and the fringing has signs of wear/damage. They bear no hallmark, nor stamps. Gross weight 15.2 grams. CR made 17th April 2013

A 19th century Davenport part dessert service, each piece painted with a spray of flowers within a pink/red gilt decorated border CONDITION REPORTS General wear and scuffs. Some damage, losses and stains. Crazing. One plate very stained and is of a different base colour (darker) than others). Two other plates cracked. One plate broken and glued. Small dish with damage and losses. A larger dish wish damage and losses. Centrepiece with cracks to handles. All with some kiln/firing deposits. Some bear impressed marks to base, others are unmarked.

An extremely rare Steiff ‘paper-plush’ Teddy Bear, No.5622, circa 1919, with backing cloth and pile made of brown wood fibres, black boot button eyes, pronounced muzzle, black horizontally stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with similar finer wood cloth pads, hump, wood wool stuffing and FF button - 121/2in (32cm) high (some professional darning repairs and loss of pile). During the 1st World War, supplies of mohair ran out; in order to continue some production from the Steiff factory, they were forced to come up with some alternatives. One was a tweed-like material made from nettles called Brennessel and from 1919 to 1921 they used this rare ‘paper-plush’. It is believed that this is the first time an example of this rare Teddy Bear has come up for auction for many years
