A Swarovski Ibex, boxed, and other Swarovski items (box) Condition report Report by NG Five pieces: Ibex: 10 cm high Teddy Bear: 4 cm high, possibly re-glued, glue to arms and legs look yellowy brown in colour, boxed, Art 7637 NR 054000 Butterfly: 5 cm high. Again some of glue has yellowed. A couple of small nibbles to edge of one wing. One antennae is bent or damaged, there is a visible lump in metal. Boxed, Art 7639 NR 055000 Swan: 4.5 cm high. Tail feathers slightly rough, chip to one wing. Boxed, Art 7633 NR 050000 Swan: 4.5 cm high. Nibble to tail feather and discolouring to glue. Boxed All pieces grubby as though have been on display.

[CHURCHILL WINSTON S.]: (1874-1965) British Prime Minister 1940-45, 1951-55. Nobel Prize winner for Literature, 1953. Churchill's Standard of the Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports, the 12 x 6 flag made of a bunting of wool and synthetic fibre and machine sewn with various printed designs and bearing the arms of the Lord Warden - Quarterly; azure with three castles; Gules, to the dexter a rectangle, containing an anchor upon its side, flukes to the sinister surmounted by a peer's coronet; to the sinister three demi-lions passant guardant conjoined to as many ships' hulls; Per pale and or gules, to the dexter a ship, gules, to the sinister three lions passant guardant conjioned to as many ships' hulls; azure, a castle. The standard does not bear a makers label, although was most probably the work of John Edgington of London. Together with a red card luggage label bearing the black printed name The Rt. Hon. Winston S. Churchill, O.M., C.H., M.P. to the recto and a large black printed letter C to the verso. With the original plain string attached. The label is signed beneath Churchill's name by Gordon J. Green, to whom the standard was presented by Churchill. Some slight fraying and age wear, G to VG, 2 Gordon J. Green (1908-1991) British Police officer who joined Special Branch in 1938. Green served as a Protection Officer to Churchill in 1945 and 1951-52 and accompanied the Prime Minister to the Potsdam Conference. Churchill served as Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports from 1941-65 and the present standard would have been used on his official car.

Liverpool bear Club Brugge 1-0 through a Kenny Dalglish goal in the 64th minute.
