Pair of small George III Irish silver salvers, each having a decorative rim with shell and scroll decoration, engraved crest and standing on half ball feet, each bear the makers mark of James Scott and the retailers mark of Edward Twycross, Dublin 1813, 18.5cm diameter, combined weight 18.3oz approx General condition consistent with age **
MAGNIFICENT & HISTORICAL LATE 18TH C POWDERHORN - Very Large and Intricately Scrimshawn American Powder Ox Horn marked `Caleb Sutton` and `B. Deuel`, having a four rank spiraling depiction of a rose, a ship and a sailor, exotic birds, dogs, a traveler and a mansion, lion, dog, bear and horse, three gents in conversation, large flower stem flanked by two tiny horses, and two roses flanking a kicking donkey over the British Royal Coat of Arms, having black walnut cap with knop and pouring spout with octagonal sides, 17" long, 3 1/4" diam at end, very good condition. The Suttons and Deuels are old Dutchess County, NY families from colonial times, the marriage that ultimately brought them together was between Caleb Sutton and Eliza Deuel on May 2nd, 1832. Many of the Deuel clan left for Canada after the War of 1812.
PAIR OF LARGE BRONZE HAN DYNASTY TAOTIE MASK HANDLES -Cast in high relief depicting a bear raising itself up above a pair of bulbous eyes. The nose below curling back to form a hook to hold a loose ring handle, not present. Rectangular mounting tab at the back, 4" (10.2 cm) tall x 5 1/4" (13.3 cm) wide x 1 1/4" (3.2 cm).
WATERCOLOR - `Lew`s Wharf` by Maurice `Jake` Day, (ME, 1892-1983), signed lower left and dated `73, depicting bear family preparing for picnic on a pier while bears and raccoons repair lobster traps, other bears work lobster boats and dories in background, a mermaid watches the food from pier side, in driftwood molded frame, matted and glazed, SS: 13 1/4" x 28 1/2", OS: 21" x 36", fine condition. Day worked for Disney in his younger years.
(2) SMALL NATIVE AMERICAN BASKETS - Including: 1890s Yavapai Apache Coiled Basket with concave sides and flat bottom, geometric design in cottonwood and bears claw, 3" x 7" diam, slightly soiled; PLUS Hupa Flexible Covered Basket , circa 1915, tightly woven, faded colors of blue, green and yellow stripe, in bear grass, fern and redbud, 3 1/4" x 5 1/2", very good condition.
(2) NATIVE AMERICAN BASKETS - Modoc Child’s Hat Baskets, in finely woven polychrome geometric made from bear grass, fern and alder, Southern Oregon/Northern California region, the larger, 3 1/4" deep, 7 5/8" diam, is in fine condition, the smaller at 3 3/8" x 7 1/8" diam has a single break at a weave line at the crown.

A pair of Jay Strongwater gilt metal, enamel and glass bead mirrors, late 20th/ early 21st century, of octagonal form, the enamelled and beaded frame surrounded by reticulated Rococo style foliage, height 46 cm; together with a quantity of Jay Strongwater models of animals to include a labrador, rabbits, a koala bear, tiger, racoon, peacock, cheetah, elephant with clock, further elephant and chameleon; with a Jay Strongwater oil lamp ,seat and two further animals, (a lot).
