Two snowboards and a t-shirt, all part of NAD promotional efforts. From the collection of NAD guitarist Rat and in his words: "The White 5150 Board was from MTV BoardAid on Bear Mountain California, a show that I didn’t make but Tank (Manager) grabbed me one of the boards they were handing out. The Blue NED’s board made by the legendary ‘A.’ company was a competition prize that included flights to LA I believe. Brown ‘Gutted’ T-Shirt is associated with this’. Fantastic error on these boards and the artwork is the wrong way around. The Blue should have been the base and the white the top of the board."White 5150 Board - Approx Length - 148cm / Approx Width - 26cmBlue 'A.' Board - Approx Length - 153cm / Approx Width - 25cm
A pair of mahogany hall chairs, c.1770-1775, in the manner of Mayhew and Ince, each oval back painted with a crest, over open arms above a solid seat, raised on fluted tapering legs,63cm wide63cm deep96cm high (2)The crest shown on these chairs, a demi-bear Sable muzzled Or, and the motto 'Festina Lente' are believed to be those of the Barnard Family of Beverley, Yorkshire. It seems likely that these chairs demonstrate an early use of the Barnard crest by Leuyns Boldero Barnard following his inheritance of the estate of his great-uncle Henry Barnard of Beverly, and subsequent change of name and arms in 1769-1770.The estate inherited in 1769 by Leuyens Boldero was at East Hall in Beverley, the house was remodelled in the late 18th century and again almost immediately at the beginning of the 19th century when it was redesigned in the Gothic taste and renamed Cave Castle. The design of the arms of these chairs bears a striking resemblance to a set of four sold by Christie's at the sale Linley Hall, Shropshire: 'Property from The Collection of The Late Sir Jasper & Lady More', March 2016, lot 74.Condition report: Both seats with wear and fading. Slight fading to the backs, but retaining good general colour and patina.Splits, knocks and scratches throughout. One seat split. Some separation to joints, but both generally solid and study.Splits and knocks to veneer and crossbanding. Some loss and minor repair to stringing and crossbanding.

He graduated in 1966 with an Associate of the Royal College of Art Degree, as well as prizes in Life Drawing, Life Painting, and Landscape Painting. His work was much admired by his contemporaries and his tutors. For the next two years, Turner was a lecturer at the Guildford School of Art; working on environmental installation projects with Australian artist Tony Underhill. He was introduced to etching by Peter Olley and Norman Ackroyd. In 1968, he was employed as an epigraphic artist and photographer by the Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago. For five years, he was based at Chicago House in Luxor, Egypt making facsimile drawings of the reliefs on the walls of the Temple of Khonsu, Karnak and Medenet Habu, adjacent to the Valley of the Queens. In 1973, Turner returned to England, lecturing at Salisbury College of Art for three years, before being re-employed in Egypt by the University of Chicago, for a further four years. During this time he made full-scale tracings of all columns in the Great Hypostyle Hall of Luxor Temple.
