A pair of Chinese green-glazed pottery vessels, probably Han Dynasty (206 BC - 220 AD), each modelled in the form of a granary with a ribbed ‘roof’ above concentric bands, on three bear-form feet, the glaze with iridescence typical of buried goods, 24cm high. Compare a similar pair of vessels sold by Christie’s, New York, Interiors sale, 6-7 April 2010, Lot 345 and a single example The House Sale, 7-8 March 2006, Lot 294.
