Campbell (Barbara Mary, 'Cam', 1913-1984). Collection of original artwork, c.1945-50. Comprising 33 watercolours (nearly all with strong outlining in pen and ink, a few with pencil only), of which 26 mounted and 7 mounted, framed and glazed, various dimensions, portrait and landscape, mainly 245 x 180 mm or 165 x 270 mm and similar, together with a related 'Cam' exhibition catalogue (20 leaves, each separately laminated, bound in original black plastic folder with title 'Written and Drawn by Cam, Barbara Campbell, 1913-84' to front, priced descriptions, illustrated with mounted colour reproductions throughout), together with 3 manuscript drafts for the short story 'Tuppence & Co', presumably in Campbell's holograph (9, 8 and 7 pp.), many of the mounted pictures in clear plastic bags with priced exhibition labels (qty: a carton) A delightful archive of original illustrations by a highly competent postwar children's author, replete with anthropomorphic frogs, rabbits and monkeys, and a gang of mischievous King Charles spaniels (the latter from the author's work Tuppence & Co., which appears to be unpublished). 'Barbara Mary Campbell spent her childhood in London and Jersey. She studied at Clapham School of Art, St Martin's School of Art, and [the] Central School of Arts and Crafts. Her first book, Barbara Lamb, about a lamb who [becomes] an opera singer, was written and drawn as a diversion ... while in the Land Army ... John Lane The Bodley Head commissioned her to write six more: Buttercup Fairy (1945), Margaret Field-mouse (1946), Timothy Tabbycat (1947), Belinda Bear (1948), Bill Frog (1950), and Bill Frog to the Rescue (1951). Then, published by Collins, came: Three Jolly Fishermen (1952), Three Jolly Clowns (1952), and Three Jolly Mountaineers (1954), the adventures of three cats' (introduction to the exhibition catalogue, included with the lot).
An American Southwest Indian silver and turquoise necklace, by Julius Hoskie, five graduated heartline or spirit bear symbols to the front half, each rub set with three oval cabochon turquoise, and with round cabochon turquoise eyes, to two rows of silver beads on trace chain, with a single row to the back half, with bolt ring and hook clasp, marked Julius Hoskie Sterling, 595mm long, 73.75gCondition report: The bolt ring is probably a later addition. Minor surface marks/scratches/tarnish to silver.

Ernst Eisenmayer (Austrian/British, 1920-2018), An industrial scene with crane, Oil on canvas, Signed 'Eisenmayer' lower left, 34cm x 24cm, Framed CONDITION REPORT:The paint surface is a heavy impasto in some areas but near bear canvas in others. This appears to be as the artist intended, however it is possible that there may have been the odd loss to the impasto. There are a couple of areas where the flatter paint appears to have lifted slightly from the canvas, but it is not clear if this occurred at the time time paint originally dried or if it is the result of age or environmental factors. The frame is sturdy but appears slightly open at the corners.

Three Chinese Jade carvings, comprising; two pendants, decorated with a crane and a dog of fo, each 5cm long, and a terminal with a chilong, 5.5cm long, with three soapstone seals and a Coquilla nut carving (7)Condition report; No obvious concerning condition issues. Soapstone pieces appear to bear more signs of wear.
A JAPANESE IRON KO-SHOAMI TSUBA MUROMACHI PERIOD, 16TH CENTURY The circular plate embellished with an abstract design of rectangular shapes in openwork (sukashi), with a band of key fret following the rim and scrolling tendrils in the rectangular apertures, the arabesque decoration rendered in gold inlays (zogan), unsigned, with Hozon Tosogu (Sword fitting Worthy of Preservation) certificate no.462301 issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (The Society for the Preservation of the Japan Art Sword), dated 1st March 2011, in a kiri box, 9cm. (3) Provenance: from a European private collection.PLEASE NOTE THIS LOT IS TO BE OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVEArtists belonging to the Shoami School worked for the Bakufu, the military government, during the late Muromachi Period (1333-1573). The first Ko-Shoami style of tsuba appeared then and was produced until the end of the Momoyama period (1568-1600), and they don't bear signatures. By the end of the 16th century, the Ko-Shoami School split into different groups. Artists moved to new areas and founded independent schools with their own characteristics.

A ladies' 18ct gold Omega mechanical watch movement, c.1963, in an earlier Swiss case and bracelet, c.1950,with a 20.70mm case. A circular champagne dial with raised black and gilt batons and hands, to an octagonal bezel with a light Florentine finish. An integral Milanese bracelet with a satin finish, with a ladder snap clasp. Marked 18k 0.750. Movement no. 20447512, calibre no. 485. 143mm long, 41.17gCondition report: Winds and ticking but no guarantee as to timekeeping or continued running.Glass scratched.Dial scratched, dial marked.Very dirty bezel.Clasp in working order.The movement is by Omega, but the case and bracelet do not bear any Omega marks. The edge of the interior case is a little rough and may have been adapted to take the Omega movement. It is possible the case and bracelet are not by Omega, although the quality of the bracelet is good.
