The Following five lots 564-568 comprise a collection of original artwork for illustration in gouache, pen and ink and watercolour for publications including Hey Diddle Diddle and Toby Comics. Artists included John Donnelly, Roger Hall, Bert Felstead, RB Davis and Gladys Masor. Some bear inscriptions giving name and date of publication. Both titles were published by International Publishing Corporation, Formerly Amalgamated Press. Hey Diddle Diddle ran from March 1972 to Sep 1973 and Toby ran from Jan 1976 to Sept 1978. Two 19th Century Prussian cavalry sabres, each with pierced brass knuckle guard and ribbed grips, the blades housed in steel scabbards CONDITION REPORTS Scabbards very rusted and with some losses. One scabbard is quite a tight fit and the other is quite a loose fit - so may be associated. Scabbards do not appear to bear any numbers. Both sabres bear number 94 to the guard. Grips with wear and losses, blades with knicks, dents, tarnish, wear, each is approx 90cm long.

Pre-War Goods Wagons (x9). LMS High-Sided Coal Wagon x 2, LMS High-Sided Open Wagon, LMS 5 Plank Open Wagon, LMS Goods Brake Van, LNER Goods Van x 2, LNER Goods Brake Van and GWR Goods Brake Van. All wagons complete and in collectable condition. All pale blue boxes are very good or better and all bear pre-War date codes and have regional stickers.
